Tuna steak with pineapple riced vegetable pilaf

As a mom, I do the best I can everyday to keep my family happy and healthy. I also strive to keep our busy schedules in check, not to over schedule us, to make sure no one or no thing is forgotten. I’m also human and everything I just mentioned? It happens. So as much as I want to give them a completely fresh and delicious meal, there are times that we are limited with our time and having an all natural frozen option is kind of a life saver.

If you haven’t heard, cauliflower is still a very popular ingredient to experiment with and use as a way to reduce the number of carbohydrates one is eating. You won’t find many starch alternatives that are non-GMO project verified and taste good. Cauliflower is also a great source for vitamin C, and it’s a vegetable. Basically, if I can use cauliflower in any recipe, it’s a win!

Alexia has a great selection of premium frozen sides that are ideal when short on time and needing to piece together a healthy meal for everyone. I’ve made mashed cauliflower before and your first try at it, depending on the recipe you follow, can be a little intimidating. Alexia’s entire line of frozen products has got you covered, from mashed cauliflower to riced vegetable pilaf, making it super simple and taking out all of the guess work.

These gluten-free sides dishes are an easy way to save time– they are ready to eat in 10 minutes or less. There are also no other ingredients needed so while your mashed cauliflower cooks, you can focus on a protein and getting the table ready. Or, of course, you can choose to spruce it up a little and make it totally your own! Alexia’s motto is to take something simple and extraordinary, and I couldn’t agree more.

Like this pineapple riced vegetable pilaf. It was so tasty and easy. Plus it’s full of veggies, so it’s something you can feel so good about eating and serving!
